One of the most important hires for the business, we are seeking a Head of Partnerships. This role will power extraordinary user experiences through partnerships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Flixmedia’s mission. Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead partnerships with our Group businesses, our investors, and external technology and business partners.

This senior role will provide strategic thinking to answer some of the most important big picture questions, including the development of our overall partnership strategy, identifying and engaging the relevant partners, to building and executing upon partner-referred opportunities.

As a successful candidate, you will have strong partnership experience across online and ecommerce sectors, where you have developed relationships from scratch and have shown you can lead and close deals in a highly matrixed environment. Given the need to be both strategic and executional, you will be familiar with the technology ecosystem in which Flixmedia operates.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead development of Flixmedia’s partnerships strategy and play a key role in accelerating the pace and scale of our business through building and executing partner programs and activities that maximise revenue potential through our Partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and execute our partnership strategy to win clients and achieve revenue targets 
  • Define partner structures and oversee process of agreeing commercial terms
  • Design and implement the partnerships acquisition strategy aligned to our growth vision 
  • Lead partner contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company expectations 
  • Build a pipeline of partner-referred opportunities, globally 
  • Work cross functionally, ensuring the success of the Partnership program 
  • Train Partners, co-pitch with Partners, manage sales pipeline and close deals    

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed Partner acquisition and New Business targets 
  • Own Partner strategy and manage Partner-led campaigns to drive revenue growth 
  • Develop and deliver quarterly marketing plans to meet strategic growth initiatives 
  • Regularly present sales, revenue and budget reporting 
  • Continually review partnerships structures, explore/develop new ways to deliver value

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and collaboration capabilities across all levels of Partner organisations 
  • Track record of defining and executing partnership strategies leading to revenue growth 
  • Experience defining partner value proposition, and delivering measurable KPIs 
  • Good understanding of tech (content syndication) and ability to demonstrate value of data 
  • Experience of securing major partnerships, including contract drafting and negotiating 
  • Industry expertise within content syndication, ecommerce and consumer electronics 
  • Strong drive to achieve results, strong-willed, motivated and cool under pressure 
  • Hands-on and excited to get involved closing deals and building partnerships
  • Relentless self-starter who loves breaking new ground and closing the biggest deals 
  • History of leading the full 360 cycle of creating and delivering partnerships and pipeline 
  • Extensive experience of working cross-functionally and with senior stakeholders 
  • A positive and adaptable mindset that can take on any challenge 
  • Agency sales or strategic partnership development
