** SEARCH CONCLUDED** HEAD OF GLOBAL SALES

Role Purpose  

Continuing their ambitious plans for future growth, Tangle Teezer is now seeking a Head of Global Sales. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Global Sales Director is responsible for developing Tangle Teezer sales through their Global network of International distributors and direct UK business. Tangle Teezer has an appropriately ambitious growth strategy for the next 3 years given the strength of the brand, NPD plan and white space opportunities.  

Key Accountabilities  

  • Responsibility for developing the Sales strategy, along with the successful communication and delivery of the strategy. 
  • Leadership and coaching of a 5 person sales team, setting individual objectives and development plans. 
  • Responsibility for new business development, negotiations and commercial contracts in line with proposed budgeted growth and Financial KPIs. 
  • Ownership of the sales forecasting process on a by category and by product group basis. 
  • Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and marketing team, influence our Global distributors to invest in the Tangle Teezer brand, using assets approved and generated by the UK based marketing team.    

Candidate Specification  

  • 6-10 years sales experience, with proven ability to lead and coach a sales team.   
  • Multi-channel account management experience. Health & Beauty retailers and e-retail mandatory, ideally also distributor management.   
  • Experience within a ‘Blue Chip’ branded company with ideally SME experience, knowing how to operate in a fast pace commercial environment.   
  • Experience of category management. Must be numerate, and skilled in analysis, generating insights and turning into action.   
  • International sales experience, within Asia knowledge ideal.   
The role is located at the Tangle Teezer Headquarters in Brixton, South London, with regular overseas travel expected.
