JOB PURPOSE

To lead and develop RCI Financial Services’ (RCIFS) strategic marketing relationship with Renault UK. To maximise the use of finance to generate unit sales volume for Renault and Dacia brands as well as profit for RCI. Generate incremental profitability for RCI by identifying new marketing opportunities to integrate and support manufacturer activities.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day to day marketing relationship between RCIFS and Renault / Dacia brands, influencing at Board level so that manufacturer support (VME) for finance programmes is optimised
  • Ensures that RCIFS commercial strategy is consistently represented in all interactions with RUK, therefore coordinates communication with the Brands also outside his/her core area, e.g. Services, CRM, Fleet, etc., involves the necessary persons in exchanges or represents them if necessary. 
  • Manage the Renault/Dacia Brand Team and provide support, guidance and development opportunities where required. Ensure  
  • Operational responsibilities include: 
    • Define and deploy the quarterly offer campaigns to maximise manufacturer unit sales and RCI finance penetration. 
    • Maintain a high awareness of market trends and competitor activity to develop innovative new products and services in support of the manufacturer’s quarterly marketing programmes.
    • Represent RCIFS within Renault and Dacia New Model Launch Committees to promote the use of RCI products and services to support launch activities.
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and report findings and make recommendations to improve ongoing performance.
    • Define and deploy effective point of sale, merchandise and digital materials in line with RCIFS, Renault and Dacia brand guidelines and work with manufacturer to produce FCA compliant, impactful finance-led advertising that dives traffic and sales. 
    • Define and deploy dealer based incentive programmes in order to maximise engagement of RCIFS offers within the Renault & Dacia dealer networks. 
  • Work transversally with the RCIFS Finance, Sales and Operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and effective results from all marketing campaigns. 
  • As part of the Marketing Management Team, takes active part in the Management’s work, shares practices and proactively contributes to the development of RCIFS’s marketing strategy.

  • Proven experience at a senior level in an Automotive Manufacturer environment.
